8 Fashion Labels To Know To Elevate Your Street-cool Fits
First up this week is MSCHF (+45%) — a Brooklyn-based collective that always brings the fun. Its 87th drop, dubbed “The Big Fruit Loop” is exactly that — a giant version of a singular ring-shaped cereal that comes in a box. We don’t know about you, but we definitely want in. Last October, it released its sneakers AC-1  that’s reminiscent of medical boots, and they’re truly kitschy and fun.

The 2nd place goes to Zeen — an eyewear label that aims to provide the most comfortable designs at an affordable price. Its unique patented design that’s adjustable adapts to the face of the wearer. With everyone heading back to school and work, it’s no surprise that searches for value-for-money eyewear shot up (+43%).

Want to incorporate more sustainable touches into your wardrobe? Spanish brand Ecoalf is a name to know. It has recently collaborated with Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop lifestyle and wellness brand on a capsule line that features five outerwear designs that are made using recycled materials, from raincoats to ponchos to down jackets. Searches for the brand increased by 39% as a result.

With the new year comes new expansion plans, as not one but three labels — Italian outerwear specialist Peuterey (+39%), Japanese denim brand Evisu (+34%) as well as Italian brand Dondup — are all opening new global stores. The first announced that it has forged ties with a South Korean distributor to open 22 mono-brand boutiques by 2026; the second recently took over the old Van’s store in SoHo, New York; and the third opened its first Belgian store in Antwerp at the city’s main shopping hub.

If you’re looking to experiment with new trends in 2023, here’s one that’s been making waves as of late: puffed leg warmers that channel the iconic Y2K era. Introduced by Norwegian fashion house Holzweiler whose search activity was boosted by 35%, the cosy accessory can be moulded onto any shoe soles. Trust us when we say that it adds that effortlessly cool factor to any outfit. The best part? It’s completely water-resistant.

Speaking of footwear, street-style favourite Khaite’s boots have also been making waves as of late. The 26% increase in search activity is proof. Bella Hadid, Katie Holmes and Emily Ratajowski are some of the It-girls who have been sported in its designs, so if you’re looking for a new trusty pair, you know where to shop from next.
